Overview

Our 30 minute ATV quad bike Dubai ride is the perfect introduction to quad biking. You ride your own automatic quad bike, so there are no gears to worry about – just throttle and steer. A guide leads the way through the red dunes and keeps the pace comfortable for first-timers.

Thirty minutes is enough to climb a few dunes, pick up some speed on the flats and stop for photos at the top. It is a great add-on before an evening safari, or a quick adrenaline hit on its own.

Itinerary

  1. Pickup
    Hotel pickup or meet at camp

    Free shared pickup from Dubai hotels, or drive to our desert base at Lahbab / Al Badayer.

  2. On arrival
    Safety briefing & gear

    Helmet, goggles and face scarf fitting, followed by a hands-on briefing on controls and hand signals.

  3. Ride
    30 minute quad bike ride

    Follow the lead guide on a 30 minute trail through the red dunes on your own automatic quad bike.

  4. Photo stop
    Dune-top photo stop

    A break on a high dune for photos and cold water.

  5. Finish
    Back to base & drop-off

    Return to the base camp, freshen up and transfer back to your hotel.

Good to Know

  • No driving license needed. Minimum age 16 to drive; younger guests ride as passengers.
  • Closed shoes and long trousers are recommended.
  • Morning (8 AM – 11 AM) and afternoon/sunset slots (3 PM – 6 PM) are available daily.
  • Always follow the lead guide and keep a safe distance from other bikes.
  • Not suitable for pregnant women or guests with back problems.

For most first-timers, yes – it is enough to learn the controls and enjoy the dunes. If you want bigger dunes and more speed, choose the 1 hour ride.
